PoliticalNewsToday.com, LLC (PNT) was founded in 2000 in order to take over management of the Empire Page and to explore other opportunities to aggregrate political news content. The founding partners were Wynantskill Capital, the Schwartz Heslin Group of Latham New York and Empire Information Services, Inc. (EIS). In 2004, EIS became the managing partner of PNT. In 2007 EIS changed its name to (readMedia, Inc.).
At the end of 2007, I purchased readMedia's shares of PNT.com stock. Today, I serve as Managing Partner of PoliticalNewsToday.com LLC and Publisher and Editor of The Empire Page.
My goal for the Empire Page is to maintain its role as the website that people who are active in and care deeply about NYS government and politics can rely on for information and opinion presented without a partisan bias.
The new features introduced this summer (2008) were chosen to extend that franchise by providing more information while at the same time making it easier to find the information people need to have.
