Liz Noyer Feld

Liz Noyer Feld was elected mayor of Larchmont in 2006 as a reform candidate. She campaigned on a platform of fiscal responsibility; greater efficiency in municipal services by sharing resources with neighboring towns; employing public-private partnerships to meet local needs, and demanding a fair share of funding from state and county government. She was re-elected Mayor in 2008 without opposition.

In November 2008, she ran unsuccessfully against Suzi Oppenheimer on the Republican, Conservative and Independence lines for New York's 37th Senate District.

Feld served in The White House, as Public Affairs Specialist, Office of Management and Budget; and as Assistant to Vice Presidential Press Secretary. She has been director, News Information, ABC News and senior vice president, Communications for Nickelodeon. In 1999 she was the lone GOP founder of the Million Mom March, advocating sensible gun control legislation. She also founded and served as executive director of LAUNCH, a citizens action group established to revitalize a Westchester County business district.

She is a graduate of Chatsworth, Hommocks, and Mamaroneck High Schools and received a B.A. from Georgetown University (1982). She has three children and is married to Joel Feld, Executive Vice President and Executive Producer of NESN (New England Sports Network) where he is in charge of programming and production for the Boston Red Sox, Boston Bruins, and other sports properties.
